LAKE IN LAPLAND, NORWAY

Lapland Lake in Norway

PREVIOUS GLACIER BAY - NEXT FJORDLAND

ORIGINAL: SOLD

PRINTS: (The stated cost includes postage.)

DESCRIPTION: This image evokes similar feelings to "Glacier Bay", but this time the feeling is calmer. The lack of ice suggests that this is a more colorful and life enhancing place, which is again emphasized by the two bird signature. However, the ruggedness of the mountains warns you that this is still an extreme place and the deep blue of the lake suggests that it is very cold. This image shows extreme use of reflection to give it almost a two part structure. This again suggests the idea of a multi-dimensional universe and the idea that there is much to discover here. This image works well with "Glacier Bay", "Milford Sound" and "Fjordland". It could easily be exhibited as part of a trio. Lapland is in the extreme north of Sweden. Jack was most impressed by this cold land when he toured this area in the 1980s.
